Is Your PSLF Path Actually Protected?
The 120 Defense Review Session™ exists for public servants who want to know for certain.
The System Is Not On Your Side
Making payments is not the same as being protected. The federal student loan system is administratively complex, servicer-dependent, and unforgiving of errors. Borrowers who do everything right still lose qualifying progress through gaps they never saw coming.
A payment count that dropped during a servicer transition. An employer that turned out to be ineligible. A recertification is missed. Documentation that no longer exists for a period that absolutely needs to be proven.
These are not outliers. These are the most common ways borrowers lose ground on a path they have been working for years.
Built From $385,000
In Personal Federal Debt
I carried $385,000 in federal loans. I made every mistake a borrower can make — employment gaps I couldn’t document, payment counts I assumed instead of verified, certifications submitted late. I navigated a system that felt designed to turn me around until I built my own way through it.
The 120 Defense System™ came from that experience. Not as a theory. As a survival tool.
Civic Loan Lab exists because that framework should have been in place when I needed it.
The 120 Defense Review™
60 minutes. 8 structural areas. One clear picture of where you stand.
In this session, we walk through all eight pillars of the 120 Defense System™ together. You answer. I listen. We find where your path is exposed. Within 24 hours, you receive a personalized written summary of your structural position and a 30/60/90 day action plan.
